Indian weddings and jewellery have a flattering relationship. In India, weddings are not complete without a bunch of stunning wedding jewellery for the brides. Some of these pieces are heavy and insanely dazzling that you need to think twice before wearing them again. So, you lock them in your locker to never flaunt them again.
What if I tell you that you can make use of most of your jewellery pieces by styling them differently to wear it on a regular day? Yes, it’s true. Shreya Kalra, Fashion and Jewellery expert on Truly Bridal By Kalyan Jewellers has come up with some unusual ways in which you can flaunt your wedding jewellery. You will be amazed at her creativity. You can watch the video here.
Raani Haars are never taken out of locker after the wedding, but now it’s time to bring it back. Shreya suggests styling your Raani Haar with a buttoned up crisp white shirt for work dinner or formal occasions for an elegant look. Chaand bali’s are also rarely adorned by us ladies but Shreya advices you to beautifully style your chand bali with a cocktail dress to earn dozens of compliments. She even created a headband using her multi string haar.
Shreya is at her creative best when it comes to jewellery styling. Who thought you can make a haathphool at home? Shreya made use of a cocktail ring and a simple gold chain to create a graceful haathphool which you can wear with any outfit. Check out the video to know how she did it 😉
