Getting a perfect foundation is a big task. Bourjois Healthy Mix is the only foundation I used till the last drop. I loved it so much. After having used it for some time, I wanted to try something new. I have never tried any of the Revlon Foundations so, thought to give Revlon Photoready a try. Lets see if I loved it or not
Perfected airbrushed skin in any light. Complete coverage, Oil free, Fragrance free.
Rs 975 / 30ml
I was looking for a perfect foundation because my skin is sensitive and tends to break out easily. I have combination skin. I choose oo4 Nude, which looked perfect on me. Packaging is quiet simple with a pump dispenser. It is packed into a glass bottle but I think it will survive a fall because I dropped it twice and it is still intact
I always like foundations with pump dispensers because its hygienic and avoids product wastage. It has tiny shimmer particles although they are not visible on skin but gives a healthy glow. I love its medium to build-able coverage. Only two pumps were enough for me to cover my neck and face. But you have to be very quick at blending because it sets very fast. It easily stays on for 5-6 hours without the need of any touch-up. Just to test this, I wore it in the morning and did all my daily chores, It was intact till evening.
I loved how this shade perfectly matches my skin tone. It gives the flawless finish to skin and does not appear cakey at all. SPF 20 is an added advantage. It looks perfect in pictures and does not show any white cast. In India you can get 4 shades- Shell, Nude, Medium Beige & Caramel. If you have oily skin you may have to rethink as it makes your skin look glowy.
I apply this over a moisturizer with a stippling brush and put a little concealer under my eyes and top with some powder and I’m ready to go.
- Feels light on the skin.
- Has a shiny glow to it for a healthy looking complexion
- Does not appear cakey
- No white cast
- Fragrance Free
- Excellent coverage
- Pump for easy application
- Shimmer Particles didn’t bother me but it can be a problem for few
- Not suitable for oily skin beauties ( Go for Colorstay instead )
- Not many shades are available in India
Overall I loved it but I won’t recommend this for people with oily skin ( You should try their Colorstay Foundation because of its matte texture ) others can go for it
